FACEIT levels and ELO in 2026: the full CS2 table
Every FACEIT level with its exact ELO range for CS2, where new accounts start, and how many points separate each level.
FACEIT ranks every CS2 player with an ELO number and turns that number into a level from 1 to 10. The level is what you see on the coloured ring next to a name. The ELO underneath it is what actually moves after every match.
The full FACEIT level table
| Level | ELO range | Points to climb through it |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 100 – 500 | 400 |
| 2 | 501 – 750 | 250 |
| 3 | 751 – 900 | 150 |
| 4 | 901 – 1,050 | 150 |
| 5 | 1,051 – 1,200 | 150 |
| 6 | 1,201 – 1,350 | 150 |
| 7 | 1,351 – 1,530 | 180 |
| 8 | 1,531 – 1,750 | 220 |
| 9 | 1,751 – 2,000 | 250 |
| 10 | 2,001+ | No ceiling |
The middle of the ladder is tight. Levels 3 to 6 are only 150 ELO wide, which is roughly six net wins each. The top gets wider again: level 9 alone is 250 ELO, which is why so many players feel stuck at 1,900-something.
Where new accounts start
Most new FACEIT accounts start around 1,000 ELO, which is level 4. That puts you in the most crowded part of the ladder from your very first game, and it’s why your first 20 or so matches swing so hard.
How much ELO you gain or lose per match
A normal match is worth roughly 25 ELO, but the exact number depends on how likely your team was to win. Beat a stronger team and you might take +30 or more. Beat a weaker team and it can drop below +20. Losses work the same way in reverse. Prefire shows the exact stake for both teams in every match room, for example +26 / −25, before the game starts.
What level 10 really means
Level 10 starts at 2,001 ELO and has no upper limit. That’s why you’ll see level 10 players at 2,050 and at 4,000 in the same lobby. For anyone at level 10, the ELO number tells you far more than the ring does.
How to see exactly how close you are to the next level
FACEIT shows something like “+137 to Level 10” on your lobby page. Prefire adds the part that matters: how many wins that is, using your real average gain per win. For example: +137 to Level 10 · ≈6 wins.
Quick answers
- Is level 10 the highest? Yes. Above that, only your ELO number keeps growing.
- Can you drop a level? Yes. Fall below a level’s lower limit and you drop straight back down.
- Do levels reset each season? Your ELO carries over between seasons. Seasons change rewards and missions, not your ELO.
If you want to know what your opponents’ levels hide (their form, their maps, whether they’re on tilt), that’s exactly what Prefire puts in your match room.
